Lynette DuJohn

Lynette brings over 12 years of senior executive experience to the Innovative Travel Solutions team. Joining Vancouver Airport Authority in April 2016, Lynette is responsible for all aspects of Innovation and Information Technology. Lynette leverages technology and business analytics to deliver outstanding customer experiences, efficient airport operations, and to help achieve YVR’s passenger growth targets. Lynette has gained valuable experiences in new product development and project management in her previous roles as Chief Information Officer at BC Lottery Corporation (BCLC) and in the construction industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of New Brunswick and has a passion for people-focused leadership which complements her extensive experience enabling high performance Technology and Innovation teams.

Linda Schucroft

Linda is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years’ experience in finance, technology and innovation. Linda’s strengths are in building teams, fostering creativity and collaborating with others to change the aviation industry. Currently she oversees the innovation and development program at the Vancouver Airport Authority, fostering and building an innovation culture and implementing products at YVR that can later be taken to market. Prior to this role, Linda was responsible for all aspects of the BorderXpress product line and growing the business on a global scale. Innovative Travel Solutions aims to revolutionize the airport and travel industries by introducing solutions to make the passenger experience better.

Christopher Gilliland

Chris Gilliland is a transportation executive with over 18 years of experience in commercial operations, business development and product innovation. He is responsible for incubating and commercializing new technologies designed to transform the travel experience at airports and move the industry forward.

As part of his mandate, Chris leads the airport’s border management business, BorderXpress™, the world’s first kiosk-based self-service border control solution. More than 1,700 BorderXpress kiosks operate in 43 airports and seaports, helping more than 250 million passengers worldwide clear borders quickly and securely.

Chris spearheads strategic partnerships to revolutionize the global travel industry, including YVR’s collaboration with Glidepath on the development of CheckitXpress, the world’s most accessible, efficient and intuitive self-service bag drop, improving ease of use for travellers regardless of age, digital fluency, language or mobility. CheckitXpress offers a world-class product, customizable to meet the needs of all airports, and the highest levels of security.

Keri Phoenix

Keri is an airport finance and technology manager with more than 19 years of experience in business development, accounting and risk management. She is passionate about relationship-building and is a strong leader who challenges herself – and others – to embrace new concepts and opportunities.

In her current role, Keri is responsible for finance, strategy and business development related to the airport’s border management business, BORDERXPRESS™, the world’s first kiosk-based self-service border control solution. More than 1,700 BORDERXPRESS kiosks operate in 43 airports and seaports, helping more than 250 million passengers worldwide clear borders quickly and securely.

Keri was project lead and product owner for the deployment of BORDERXPRESS kiosks at ITS’ first global sites – Pafos International Airport and Larnaka International Airport in Cyprus –as well as Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados. Keri provides ongoing support and counsel to these sites to ensure optimal customer service is maintained. The Cyprus launch was particularly noteworthy as this represents the first implementation of permanent kiosks for Entry and Exit border control in Europe.

Jason Williams

Jason is responsible for the strategic development and execution of ITS business development related to its border management business, BORDERXPRESS™ and many other ITS initiatives such as a new automated self-service baggage drop product, CHECKITXPRESS™.

Jason joined ITS with a range of skills, including six years of project management and business development expertise with various baggage handling/bulk materials handling organizations. Most recently, Jason was an integral member of the YVR/Glidepath collaborative team that developed and implemented CHECKITXPRESS™ into live operation at YVR’s domestic and international terminals.

Ted Chen

Ted has over 13 years’ experience in the technology industry working with stakeholders to build/deploy software and hardware. He is passionate and always adding to his knowledge base surrounding the advancements in technology, security, and business continuity. In his current role with ITS, Ted is responsible for operational management and quality assurance; ensuring system functionality, availability and support continues to exceed customer expectations.

Robert Leung

Robert is responsible for evolving our innovation programs, setting strategies, and bringing innovative ideas to life. He is an organizational change agent who develops external partnerships and shares best practices on innovation.

Robert was a key contributor to the implementation of our very first BorderXpress kiosks and CheckItXpress bag drops. He is a seasoned IT professional who has over 10 years of experience in product development and project management related to passenger and baggage processing at airports.

Sepideh (Sep) Alavi

Sep is a legal and business advisor who has represented renowned Canadian and International organizations as well as start-up and growth-stage entrepreneurial enterprises across several industries. Sep’s experience is in corporate structuring, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, commercial business matters, technology, intellectual property, privacy, cyber-security, anti-spam, consumer protection, marketing and similar matters. She is passionate about supporting innovative businesses that connect our community, drive social wellness, and revolutionize the way we live.

As part of her mandate at ITS, Sep is responsible for providing strategic advice and legal opinions, developing practical solutions, implementing policies and procedures for privacy and cyber best practices, managing risk and operational compliance with all applicable laws, and supporting and overseeing ITS, its tech solutions, and relationships with customers, vendors, and collaboration partners.
